If memories are pictures you take with your heart, my heart has a lot of special pictures of Mona. Our families spent a lot of Thanksgivings together, and I remember us: *Chatting at our kitchen bar to "catch up" on stuff *Laughing as our kids watched "Clue" together so many times they could quote the dialogue along with the movie *Singing with all of the family while Ron played guitar Mona had a beautiful voice *Watching our kids performing at the family "talent"shows *Bouncing over the pasture ruts to look at the "farm" *Mona always bringing food and flowers for the table. I was always amazed at Mona's energy, enthusium,and love for life, her family, and especially Ella and Bebe. She was very creative and artistic in many areas decorating, painting, photography,stained glass, and I'm sure I don't know all that she did. When she had to cope with cancer she asked, "Pat, they say to fight this, what does that mean?". I said "I guess it means like when you are in a fight, don't give up" She said "Ok, I do plan to fight it", and she did it so bravely. I feel very blessed to have had her as a sistr in my family, and even more importantly as a sister in Christ. I pray for God's blessing of healing and peace for you the family. We love you.
